{thursdays take two | a beautiful mess}

Today's repost comes from A Beautiful Mess. I love this little remodel! Cheers!

Outdoor Party Space (Before + After)Today we are so excited to share this little outdoor party space that we built from nothing. And by nothing, I very literally mean nothing. Just take a look at the before photo...
BEFOREWe started out with this unused little nook beside our workshop. It wasn't being used for anything and didn't look to have too much potential, but as soon as we started brainstorming ideas for a little party space (you know, for grilling and Friday night cocktails), it started to come to life!
In the coming week, Josh will be sharing his process for laying the stone tiles and installing the outdoor lights, and Laura has already shared her process for creating these pretty outdoor pillows. Start to finish, we spent about a month making over this little nook, and now it's as cute as can be.
Here are some photos of our new party space!

Making something cool out of an unused space is something that makes me so inspired! Do you have unused spaces in your home or yard that could become something new?

{to sigh for | one flew south}

If you're like me, you love to travel! I even love to get stuck in airports for long hours...why you ask? First of all because the people watching is amazing... have you ever gotten stuck in the Las Vegas airport? I sometimes feel like I have to pay some of these people for the amount of skin that I am seeing! Another reason is because I get to really explore the airports and learn something new about the place that I am visiting. For example, I got stuck in Chicago for 9 hours one time and I found their secret Yoga room! Best place to take a nap ever!!

Well, recently I had a long layover in Hartsfield-Jackson and I headed over to Terminal E. That is where the heavens parted and a light shown down on One Flew South. Hands DOWN that absolute BEST restaurant in any airport I have EVER been! Seriously!!!

Please do yourself a favor and get yourself stuck in Atlanta for a can thank me later. Until then, enjoy the photos that I took with my iphone.
