{within-spiration | stacking jewelry}

Happy Monday! Lets stack some jewelry!
#armparty #neckparty
Seriously it's on every blog and every instagram. Check out the hashtags and you will see what I mean. Last season I really started seeing this "stacking" phenomenon everywhere. So, better late than never, I decided to give it a try. My first try was only layering two pieces on my neck and wrist. The result:

It was really fun to put pieces together and eventually I graduated to adding more pieces:

I must admit I found it really challenging. The designer in me really kicks in and then I have tons of options in my head battling with each other. I will admit that when it comes to fashion I am not someone that can just throw something together and call it fabulous. I wish I was. I have to do some research, find the right pieces, and then maybe just maybe it might work.

So here is some inspiration for all of us!

Good Luck!

{thursdays take two | brassneck brewery}

Today's Re-Post comes from the fabulous people at Design Work Life. I love the simplicity and genius of the design. The bottles alone are pure art! Enjoy!

Post Projects: Brassneck Brewery

Awesome work by Vancouver-based Post Projects for Brassneck Brewery, a retail brewery in the area. The design team developed their brand identity by combining bold, in-your-face typography and whimsical ink drawings by artist Maggie Boyd.

{within works | glam bath how to}

Happy Wednesday! Today is all about Glamour! We've recently been hired to do a lot of super glam rooms, so we thought we'd share one with you in hopes of inspiring you to glam up your life! Here's a photo of one of our client's powder bath. She is unlike any other client we've ever had. She wanted to bring European Glam to her new Tucson Home. Our client is from Turkey but lived many years in France. We wanted her to have a bit of fancy France in her home.

So how do you create a look like this? Lets do some shopping:

First, you will need to do something with your walls. Depending on how glam you want to go, here are some options:

Close this window
Clarke & Clarke

Clarke & Clarke Peacock Wallpaper in Pastel found here.

It's a good idea to do a solid below and a pattern above so that you are not overwhelming yourself and your guests. In this room we only did one wall with the large print and everything else was solid. There is a such a thing as going to far. Imagine an entire powder room with peacocks staring at you. eeeeek

Another option is to go subtle, but to go Gold:

Kravet
You can find this beauty by clicking here.

Speaking of GOLD, nothing says glam like a gold chandelier! There are tons of options out there, just make sure you purchase one that is the right scale for your bath. You will still need a can light above the toilet but you can put everything on different switches and please use dimmers!

Gracie Collection 5-Light Chandelier

You can find this Gracie Collection mini chandelier here. And if you want something with a little bit of shade:
Belle of the Ball Designer Lace Shade Mini Chandelier

You can find this Belle of the Ball Designer Lace mini chandelier here

Now you've got a start into your new glam bath. Change your fixtures to gold and add an ornate mirror and Voila! Insta-Glam!

Cheers!

{to sigh for | bedia banu baykara gems}

Good morning designistas! For today's To Sigh For segment, we want to share with you a jewelry designer to die for! We recently got a sneak peek into her custom collection and we have to tell you that the photos just don't do it justice. All pieces are handcrafted in their ateliers in Istanbul at the Grand Bazaar. They have stores all over Turkey and now they are in Tucson!

The designer, Bedia Banu Baykara lives by the seaside and gets her inspiration by the gorgeous nature that surrounds here. She uses the best quality gemstones (carefully chosen by gemologist, Kemal Kaspar). If you're in the neighborhood, I highly recommend contacting their seller, Burcak. You can reach her here: Burcak@BurcakTolan.com

{within-spiration | shopping with twice}

Happy Monday Designistas!
How was your weekend? Chilly? Need a new sweater? Or just some fashion inspiration? Well, nothing inspires me more than a fabulous Sale!

I was recently introduced to Twice and was really intrigued. We have lots of second hand shops here in town, but online? I hand't seen one until now. So I decided to try it. I went online, joined Twice, and requested a bag. Once the bag arrived I filled it with clothes I no longer wore. Two weeks later I was $55 richer! So easy! You have the option to take the cash, or have a store credit, or have the clothes returned to you for $5. I decided to have the store credit which then became $68. Plus I got $10 for just downloading their app.

Now it's time to shop! They have all kinds of fabulous brands and it's updated constantly. Whoever came up with this concept is pretty brilliant I have to say. Thank you!!
