{within works | a chiropractic office gets a fresh look}

Happy Wednesday! For today's post we wanted to introduce you to our amazing client, Discover Chiropractic. Working with Dr. Chris has been a dream. He's so full of positive energy and ready for transformation!
The project began with multiple concepts and one final inspiration theme:

We absolutely love the "cool" colors mixed with the warm woods and pop of yellow. We instantly fell in love with this pallet and wanted to make the transformation come alive. Discover Chiropractic was moving locations and their initial concept for their first space was a warm and friendly Southwest theme. It was time for a Big Change!
Speaking of palettes...or should we say Pallets. We had to find some wood for our recycled wood wall. In our research we came to find the Pallet Recyclers here in Tucson. So much to see! They make, recycle, and repair wood pallets. This family run company was a treasure of information. They gave us a tour of the entire lot and took their time explaining the process to us.

And so after picking our wood pallets...of we went to continue our design...

We ended up purchasing the wood for the pallets instead of tearing apart the existing pallets. We were down to the wire and very limited on time. The staining of the wood took about 3 hours and we chose four different stains to create our look. We purchased extra boards to create our wall base and stained it in the darkest of the colors.

The space is almost complete, and we are so very excited! The wood wall turned out fantastic! Our favorite part was the hidden door to an exam room. If you will notice in the top photo there is a small doornob on the left hand side. The bottom right photo shows it with the door open. We were thrilled with the results! I cannot wait to shoe you the final photos of the space, for now we will have to tease you with our iphone shots!
We love our job!!!

Good site! I really love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a great day!
